642 Ist auch der Zeitpunkt vorüber, wo für Belgien glänzende Vor theile doraus erstehen konnten, so bleibt ihm doch in dieser Angele genheit eine sehr ehrenvolle Stellung gesichert, wenn es seine Mission richtig erkennt, die darin besteht, für sich und die übrigen Nationen die Anerkennung des lit. Eigenthumsrechts auszuwirken. Für Manchen vielleicht nicht ohne Interesse. In Dessau ist ein Sohn unseres ehemaligen alten Collegen C. G. Ackermann, der Dr. s»r. Friedrich Ackermann, als Advocat immatrikulirt und dadurch zum Betrieb aller Rechtsgeschäfte in allen drei Anhaltischen Herzogthümern ermächtigt worden. Es würde jedenfalls eine wesentliche Vervollständigung desAdceßb uch es für den deutschen Buchhandel sein, wenn in der Abtheilung: „Ge schäft sgcogrup hie" bei jedem Stadtnamcn die Adressen der daselbst fungicendcn Rechtsanwälte, oder doch einiger, genannt würden, und hübsch würde es sein, wenn unter denselben Söhne oder Brüder von Eolleg»n wären, damit diese etwaigeRechnungs-Differenzcn sofort als Sachverständige bereinigen könnten. Und namentlich in jetziger Zeit, derezi Verhältnisse wohl hier und da nur als Vorwand benutzt werden mögen, um die Erfüllung fälliger Verbindlichkeiten auf die lange Bank zu schieben. Freilich könnte wohl manches morsche Haus zusammcnbrechen, aber es ist nun einmal ein Erdbeben im Buchhandel zum Ausbruch gekommen, da muß man sich darauf gefaßt machen, das in Trümmer fallen zu sehen, was nicht fest begründet ist; es ist eine Zeit des Krieges, und keine Schlacht ohne Leichpn. Was im Stande ist, diese Erschütterungen und Schlachten zu überdauern und nicht an den Nachwehen stirbt, ist dafür um desto gesünder und kräftiger. Neuigkeiten der ausländischen Literatur.
